When Cannon Liz McElhinney was diagnosed with MND she decided to use her ability in creative writing to process her journey. Working with a tutor for an hour once a month she produced 20 reflective and inspirational poems that have been put together in this collection: Solid Joys, Lasting Treasure.
With illustrations by artist son, David, the booklet contains expressions of hope and faith that emphasise what really mattered to her.
The poems are read by Ian McElhinney, well known for his many stage and screen parts at home and around the world.
